Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 9, 2026

This is a general-purpose template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by counsel — especially the public-record data section — before you rely on it for a live product.

1. Who this applies to

This policy covers two different groups of people, and we handle their data differently: (a) you, a ArsenalData subscriber, and (b) individuals named in the public records our feeds surface — property owners, permit applicants, and similarly.

2. Information we collect from subscribers

  • Account information: name, email, company, billing address, payment details (processed by our payment provider — we don't store full card numbers).
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, search and filter activity within the product.
  • Communications: anything you send us through the contact form, email, or support chat.

3. Public record data

The property owner names, mailing addresses, mortgage and equity detail, and dispatch information in your feed come from government agency filings and licensed property-data providers — not from the individuals themselves, and not collected by us through tracking. This data is public record in the jurisdictions where we operate. If you are a homeowner named in a record and want it corrected or removed, see the process in Section 6.

4. How we use subscriber information

  • To operate your account, process billing, and deliver the feeds and features you've subscribed to.
  • To send service notices, and — if you've opted in — product updates.
  • To monitor for abuse of the Service and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We share subscriber data with the vendors that keep the Service running — payment processing, email delivery, cloud hosting, and property-data licensing partners — under contracts that limit their use of it to providing that service to us. We don't sell subscriber data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of ArsenalData or our users.

6. Data correction requests

If you believe a public record shown in ArsenalData is inaccurate, out of date, or associated with the wrong property, contact us at privacy@arsenaldata.io or through our contact page with the record in question. We'll review it against the source filing and correct or flag it as appropriate. Because the underlying data originates from government agencies and third-party providers, some corrections may need to go through the originating source.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference, and limited analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Data security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and restrict internal access to subscriber and record data to what's needed to operate the Service.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you as a subscriber. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@arsenaldata.io.

10. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll post updates here and, for material changes, notify active subscribers by email.
